Plant Remedy is a small-batch, vegan apothecary using pure plant ingredients to create effective remedies for both you and your family.

Founded by Alison, mother of two, nature lover and with a background in Health Science, she believes a holistic, plant-based lifestyle is key to optimal wellness. Remaining closely in touch with Mother Nature is the best way to counteract the increasing urban pressures we face.

Two years ago, after a major operation, Alison eliminated all products containing chemicals and synthetics from her home, and began creating her own handcrafted soap and skin preparations from scratch, experimenting with raw plant oils and butters, mineral clays, essential oils, herbal infusions and botanicals. Her soap was soon loved by family, friends and the wider community, and Plant Remedy grew organically from feedback and product requests. She now extends her knowledge of traditional soapmaking in small classes held each month in her studio.

Every Plant Remedy product contains the highest quality plant ingredients, ethically sourced and locally where possible, including a commitment to using Australian extra virgin olive oil. Our formulations do not include palm oil, due to the destruction of rainforest and threat to wildlife linked to palm oil production.

Our botanical bar soaps have a glycerin-rich, lush lather. A palette of natural colours are achieved using pure mineral clays, and divine fragrances from pure essential oil blends.
